vinylAll the performances on this set are a pleasant surprise since it'sinitial release passed me by, Brubeck generally plays more fluently here,as he does on '......Digs Disney', another personal favourite from the period.As with others, I found Bru's style often becomes too 'Heavy' for my taste, on a lot of the group's performances - not here though.The later and popular "Time Out & Time Further Out" sessions, sound more mechanical by comparison. I often wonder how successful the group would havebeen, without Paul,Leo and Joe to lift the proceedings. Sorry Dave !
