vinylA very good first time buy for those interested in the excellent musical genre that is jazz. Donald Byrd is very impressive and intuitive as ever, Pepper Adams, the writer and Sax player plays wonderfully throughout, with a slow, sweet flowing style that fills the room fully. A very good CD, one I personally regard very highly, perhaps not in keeping with the hard bopping style of Byrd's contemporaries, but very smooth and silky to the last.
